Position Overview:

The Operation Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment. This position requires a candidate with excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities to ensure the office runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.

2.Develop and implement efficient office systems and procedures to enhance productivity.

3.Act as the main point of contact for office-related inquiries and requests.

4.Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.

5.Facilitate effective communication within the office and between different departments.

6.Coordinate and organize company events, meetings, and conferences.Assist in budget management and expense tracking.

7.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining a safe and clean office environment.

8.Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols.

9.Provide administrative support to various teams as needed.

10.Customer PO Data entry   

1.Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).

2.Proven experience in an administrative/operation role.

3.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.

6.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

7.Mandarin speakers are preferred.

8.Possess strong stress management skills.  

1.Perform manual labor tasks as required, including lifting, carrying, and other physically demanding activities.

2.Assist in the efficient loading and unloading of stock, preparing items for shipment or storage.

3.Maintain cleanliness and order, ensuring a tidy workspace and organized inventory.

4.Support inventory control efforts, including stocking management and storekeeping duties as required.

5.Handle receiving and dispatching tasks, ensuring smooth logistics management for incoming and outgoing shipments.  

1.Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

2.Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

3.Forklift license is an advantage, but not mandatory.

4.Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.  

- Provide after sales service support for key customers related residential PV and ESS systems through telephone and email to achieve good customer satisfaction

- Provides initial commissioning plans, as well as coordinates commissioning activities for successful delivery 

- Support line manager to oversee residential PV and ESS systems support operations and handle escalation enquiries raised 

- Conduct field services with team and service partners in pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance work, fault diagnosis and repairs 

- Perform basic O&M by monitoring systems remotely and basic warranty work 

- Conduct products testing fault diagnosis and repairs at workshop 

- Track complex technical problems and coordinate with internal teams (technical and R&D team) to efficiently deliver high quality solutions to customers’ issues 

- Continuously develop knowledge of all relevant products and services 

- Communicate with the management, sales team and customers to support the business development  

- Electrical Engineering, Renewable Engineering and or similar background

- Strong organisation and time management skill handling multiple tasks at once 

- Excellent communications skills (Written and Verbal) in English 

- Excellent and professional telephone customer service skills 

- Attention to detail and able to understand the big picture 

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Working closely with HQ product, R&D, and modelling team to gain a solid understanding on hardware, software, RMS and EMT models of Sungrow products.

• Support commercial team on bidding preparation by preparing model packages.

• Support clients on modelling enquiries and troubleshoot model issues.

• Working closely with HQ team to close clients’ issue trackers in a timely manner, to ensure the best technical outcomes for the projects.

• Prepare and review technical notes or technical reports.

• Support commercial team on relevant document review, particularly in relation to Generator Performance Standards (GPS), R1, R2, etc.

• Participate in R2 model validation site testing, and hold point test report preparation.

• Follow up on applicable technical rules, NER in particular.

• Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Sungrow’s products and the underlying technologies.

• Assist in market analyses, includes but not limited to customer’s demand and feedback, market trend, etc.

• Participate in reviewing and negotiating on connection agreements.

• Participate in meetings of clients with regulator and market operator (AEMO) and network service providers, and provide support for clients where needed.

• Candidates MUST have full working rights in Australia.

• Hold as a minimum a Power Electronics or Power System Engineering bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree is preferable.

• Minimum of five (5) years industry experience.

• Good understanding of technical requirements (NER Schedule S5.2 and S5.3).

• Solid knowledge of power systems, power electronics, and control principles.

• Skillset in PSCAD, PSS/E, Python, MATLAB and DIgSILENT/Power Factory.

• Prior experience in Power Systems Engineering is preferrable.

• Prior experience working/liaising with AEMO, NSP is preferrable.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Verbal and written Chinese communications skills strongly preferred.

• Responsible for pre-sales technical support of PV Inverter, BESS PCS, and BESS products.

• Provide timely and excellent customer support, and maintain strong relationships with clients’ technical teams

• Provide bidding support on large-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid projects – technical solution proposals based on available products, technical document packages, bidding documents, etc.

• Prepare and review technical related documents, and support commercial team on relevant document review.

• Participate in technical marketing activities and present Sungrow technologies and solutions to the market.

• Follow up on local applicable standards.

• Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Sungrow’s products and the underlying technologies.

• Assist in market analyses, includes but not limited to customer’s demand and feedback, market trend, etc.

• Candidates MUST have full working rights in Australia.

• Hold as a minimum an Electrical, Electronics, Power System, Automation or related Engineering bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree is preferable.

• Minimum of five (5) years renewable energy industry experience.

• Good understanding of PV and BESS systems and renewable energy system designs.

• Solid knowledge of electrical principles.• Skillset in CAD, Microsoft Office.

• Prior experience in Electrical Engineering, experience in working/liaising with inverter manufacturer, large-scale project developer, and EPC is preferrable.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and have ability to engage with and influence a variety of stakeholders in a way that generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships.

• Verbal and written Chinese communications skills preferred.

Responsibility:

• Lead sales efforts by providing top-tier technical support and troubleshooting for Sungrow's clients via various channels.

• Participate in Australian project bidding—in charge of solution design, technical support, bidding documents;

• Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Sungrow’s products and the underlying technologies;

• Australian PV and ESS market’s information collection and arrangement;

• Local grid code requirement collection, follow-up local standard requirements;

• Support marketing analysis, includes not limit to customer’s feedback, competitor info;

• Maintain sales volume to existing and new client by provide the best products, price and solutions.

• Build and maintain the good relationship between company and existing/new client.

• Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile;
