Since its establishment in 1997, the Company has been concentrating on the field of new energy power generation, adhering to market demand orientation, and taking technological innovation as the propellant for development. The Company has cultivated a professional R&D team with solid R&D experiences and strong capabilities of independent innovation. Sungrow has successively undertaken more than 20 national key science and technology programs, led the drafting of multiple national standards, and is one of the few companies in the industry that have mastered a number of independent core technologies.

PROGRESS ORIENTATION

Photovoltaic inverters, Sungrow’s core products, have been accredited by TÜV, CSA, SGS, and other international authorities, and sold to more than 180 countries and regions in the world. Sungrow’s cumulative installed capacity of inverter & converter equipment across the world has been above 740GW by December 2024.

More Than 28 Years

We have come such a long way in our 28 years. The concept of solar power was not really considered as a serious power source even as recently as the 1980s. Combined with other forms of regenerative energy sources, solar power is becoming part of the global energy mix. We have been doing our part since 1997.

180 Countries

We’ve managed to install clean energy plants in 180 of 190 countries/nations in the world. That is a good first step towards a cleaner climate, but we still have work to do. After all, we all share the same climate, and we all breathe the same air.

In absolute numbers there are 740GW that are currently deployed by Sungrow globally. This number may sound quite impressive, but compared to worldwide energy consumption we still have room to grow. We will continue to push for a cleaner world, that's a promise.
